Nema Workshop – Bond Street Apartment

Amazingly open plan, light, New York style loft apartment. Originally two apartments, ‘Nema Workshop’ a design team from America made up of architects and designers completely overhauled the space and created this sprawling space of luxury inner city living.

The project was commissioned on behalf of an unnamed rock star and can be found in a landmark building on Bond St in New York.

Very nice.

Audio Go: Home of BBC Audio Books – Now Live

Phase 1 of the ‘BBC Audio Go‘ E-Commerce website we recently developed went live this week, just in time for the Christmas selling period. Take a look now and get placing your orders, having worked with Audio Go on this project, we are converted here at Lucid. Audio books are a really great way of reading that book you just couldn’t find time for, whilst your on a long journey, in the car or relaxing in the sun.

Here’s the link:

Credit and thanks to I-Tao the development team we worked alongside and the rest of the BBC Audio Go team in Bath.

L is for Lukasz

Our numero uno developer, who sits there day in day out, bringing our crazy design ideas to life through a series of letters and numbers.

This guy can solve pretty much any development challenge we put to him and was the master mind behind our new site.

Thanks Lukasz, great work.

New Website Goes Live

It gives us great pleasure to announce the launch of our new website:

www.lucid-design.net

Special thanks go to all of our loyal clients, our staff, families and contributors.

Jan, Sam, Simon, Lukasz, Jamie, Phil, Steve & Liam.

Thank you for all your hard work, I hope you like the site as much as we do.

Onwards and upwards.

Murdered Out

Black is the new black, well it never went anywhere really. Here’s a selection of some ‘murdered out’ (all black) products we like. From Black B&B Italia Rooms and Sofa’s to B&W Speakers, Bang & Olufsen TV’s, Cassius Sunglasses, a James Perse Bike, Ducatti Performance Motorbike and Bamford & Sons Rolex watches, which we saw in ‘Collette Paris’ earlier this year. We love all these stealth products.

Expect to see some key black on black design pieces coming from the Lucid Haus in the near future.

Berlin Calling

We are off to Berlin next month for a break and for Bread & Butter Berlin, International Fashion Trade Show. Hotels booked over at the Michel Burger, looks nice. (Thanks for finding it Amy!)

Counting down the days, it’s going to be a busy month at the Haus.
