Michael Van Der Ham – Commission

We were recently been commissioned by the talented designer Michael Van Der Ham, a regular now on the fashion circuit showing his collections at London Fashion Week to create a new website to showcase the designers collections. Currently still in development the website features an instant play video background to make best use of the catwalk show videos that were shot of his last two collections.

Michael graduated from the MA fashion course at Central Saint Martins. He has worked at Sophia Kokosalaki and Alexander McQueen.

Career highlight: “Vogue photographing me at my studio.”

Design signatures: “I like to mismatch different references in each item of clothing. His autumn/winter 2009 collection is a juxtaposition of elements from different decades in fashion. He made each dress like a 3D collage of clashing colours, textures, weights of fabric and cut.”

The Draw, New York – Commission

We have recently been commissioned to work on a new and exciting project for a brand new website focusing on furniture and accessories created by artisans and sourced from across the globe.

The project is to build the brand from the ground up with the team in New York and London, creating a full identity and multi user e-commerce platform in Magento.

Apposing – Commission

We have been commissioned by App Agency ‘Apposing’, the agency behind the award winning CSL Sofa company app, The Carphone Warehouse ‘Bill Angel’ app and the Pretty Green app to develop their new online presence using WordPress as the core platform. Last year saw us work in partnership on an apps project we won for the BBC, when we were approached this year by them to develop their online presence we were naturally excited to be once again working together.

More updates to follow on this project.

London Art Fair – Art 13 – Now Live

Art13 London is organised by Art Fairs London Ltd: a collaboration between Tim Etchells of SME London Ltd and Sandy Angus of Andry Montgomery. Together, they founded ART HK, the Hong Kong international art fair, which has grown at an exponential rate. From its launch in 2008, ART HK quickly became a major fixture of the international art world and in 2011 Etchells and Angus sold the majority stake in the fair to the prestigious market leader, Art Basel. More recently, furthering his interest in emerging art scenes and markets, Sandy Angus became a director of India Art Fair.

Art13 London will bring a unique global dynamic to the capital’s art world. Launching in spring 2013, this new modern and contemporary art fair will feature between 80 and 100 leading UK and international galleries. Created by the team behind the groundbreaking Art HK, it presents an exceptional opportunity in London for both seasoned and new collectors to discover modern and contemporary art from the Americas, Europe, Asia and Africa.

Where Art HK changed the face of the Asian art market in just a few years, providing an essential platform for local dealers and artists while bringing international galleries to Asian collectors, Art13 will transform how art is collected, experienced and understood from within one of the world’s major art capitals.

In addition to some of the foremost names in contemporary art and emerging talents, Art13 London will showcase work spanning the 20th century from all continents. The fair’s main section invites visitors to experience the full spectrum of the global art world and its most significant developments. Meanwhile, further specialist sections are dedicated to photography, young galleries, editions and prints. An ambitious curated program of not-for-profit artists’ commissions, events and talks, is being created in partnership with London institutions.

Art13 London follows on directly from London’s most noteworthy film, music and fashion events including the BAFTAs, the Brit Awards and London Fashion Week, placing it firmly on the must-see list for the London spring season.

A major international advertising campaign will target key publications for example, The Financial Times, The Times and Evening Standard; international art titles such as Art Forum, ArtReview and The Art Newspaper; luxury lifestyle magazines such as Vogue and Tatler; and an online presence including Artnet, Artinfo and e-flux announcements. In addition to this there will be a major outdoor campaign in the surrounding area.

We were commissioned to work alongside London Agency ‘The Plant’ on the development of the website for one of the biggest art fairs on the map in London in 2013 ‘Art 13’.

The project consisted of design and development of the website, wire-framing, online marketing consultancy and iPhone app development. Currently at it’s early stages and it’s infancy this website will likely grow considerably over the next year. More to updates to follow….

The Other Art Fair – Voting Site – Now Live

We were commissioned last year to develop a voting website for London’s newest affordable art fair ‘The Other Art Fair’, that delivers an open platform to connect art buyers of all tastes and experience directly with the most talented emerging artists before they are signed.

The voting site was built in two phases, with the second phase being completed recently for the international voting panel to cast their vote and select this years artists for the show in May 2012. With thousands of applicants applying to the show ‘Ryan’ the show founder and director needed a way of presenting all of the applicants to his selected panel online. So we developed an application area to the existing website for all applicants to submit their work and then further developed a secondary ‘voting website’ for all of those applicants to be fed into. The panel then cast their votes and the website did the rest, producing voting stats and analytical results for the final site to be populated before launch.
