Diners Club International – Commission

Our long standing client ‘Form Office’ recently completed a project for internationally renowned credit card brand ‘Diners Club International’. We were asked to arrange art direction and photography for the project, above are some of the results from the day of shooting.

Amon Tobin – ISAM ‘Live Visual Experience’

Re-drawing and blurring the lines between psychedelia and sci-fi, between art and entertainment, between sound design and melody, Brazilian electronic musician Amon Tobin released his latest creation ISAM on 23rd May via the independent London-based record label Ninja Tune. The tour that ensues plays host to some incredible set/stage design. The work that has gone into the live shows is testament to Tobin’s passion and vision. Click here to get a feel for “a beautiful combination of physical geometric stage models and interactive video projections”. Tobin and his team get a big thumbs up from Lucid.

Space Project, by Vincent Fournier

Always a fan of those represented by Carole Lambert here at Lucid. Fournier has spent the past decade and a half gaining access to some of the most controlled environments on earth – including government stations and training grounds – in an effort to expose the visual gems which can be found in these unforgiving landscapes.

Playing on the stylised notion of a sci-fi utopia, Fournier’s otherworldly photographs of the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Centre, the Mars Desert Research Station in Utah and the Atacama Desert Observatories in Chile – alongside a series of surprisingly stringy trainee astronauts – offer an alternative view of the world, unseen by many and known by few.

Charlotte Taylor – Autumn Winter 2011 – Now Live

We just added the new collection photos to Charlotte Taylor’s site. Check them out here and see what you think of them. We love the direction as always of her work and photo shoot and wish her all the luck in the world this year with what she is doing.

You can also check out more about what inspired the shoot and styling by visiting her blog here.

Staging Space: Aesthetic Language

Gestalten are browsing “scenic interiors and spatial experiences” in their latest thumbflicker. The book, entitled Staging Space is produced in such a fashion that leaves the reader free to form their own interpretations. It is visually saturated and provides web links to give the reader the option of learning more online, leaving the printed space free of ‘clutter copy’. So it’s more suited to a coffee table than a university reading list. Our kind of book.

Form Blog & Website Live

The form website and blog are now live, so go check it out at

We’d like to take this opportunity to wish the guys over at form; a great years trading and we look forward to seeing what their new website, blog, business cards and brochure (which will soon be hot off the press), will do for them on 2011.

Keep up the good work.

Nema Workshop – Bond Street Apartment

Amazingly open plan, light, New York style loft apartment. Originally two apartments, ‘Nema Workshop’ a design team from America made up of architects and designers completely overhauled the space and created this sprawling space of luxury inner city living.

The project was commissioned on behalf of an unnamed rock star and can be found in a landmark building on Bond St in New York.

Very nice.
