Tom Ford – Visionary

Michael Van Der Ham – Commission

We were recently been commissioned by the talented designer Michael Van Der Ham, a regular now on the fashion circuit showing his collections at London Fashion Week to create a new website to showcase the designers collections. Currently still in development the website features an instant play video background to make best use of the catwalk show videos that were shot of his last two collections.

Michael graduated from the MA fashion course at Central Saint Martins. He has worked at Sophia Kokosalaki and Alexander McQueen.

Career highlight: “Vogue photographing me at my studio.”

Design signatures: “I like to mismatch different references in each item of clothing. His autumn/winter 2009 collection is a juxtaposition of elements from different decades in fashion. He made each dress like a 3D collage of clashing colours, textures, weights of fabric and cut.”

London Fashion Weekend – Temporary Site – Now Live

We were recently asked by Vodafone London Fashion Weekend to design and develop a multi-image gallery holding page in preparation for their new website in 2012. The holding page featured newsletter sign up, facebook, twitter, video and a multi-image stretch background slider.

We Are Still Alive.

Wow it’s been some time since anyone contributed to our blog, the guilt showers over me as I write this post. So much has changed and happened in the Umwelt the  Mitwelt and the Eigenwelt, or more commonly the world around us, the society we live in and each one of us independently within it. (Michael Tsarion lecture on Saturday)

So what have we been up to here at Lucid? Well we’ve been up to all kinds really; climbing Snowdon, working with the British Fashion Council, meeting great new people like our new design partners over at IYA Studio. Building web apps for creative and fun brands like Lego, visiting Copenhagen for the TV Festival with our friends over at Apposing. Working with our fashion team and talented designer Domingo Rodriguez on a new fashion collection. Preparing for London Fashion Weekend with Cassius. Helping our loyal clients like Xen-Tan grow their businesses bigger and better, through email campaigns, print design, digital strategy and much more.

So with that said, there is plenty of new content to come to both our website and the blog over the coming months. We’ve got projects for Lego, London Fashion Weekend, Cassius, Xen Tan, La Dolce Vita, The Other Art Fair, Sky Baby and others to be added. Along with the launch of some larger, long anticipated web projects that have been lurking in the background for some time.

London Fashion Weekend – Now Live

We have just completed the development, deployment and hosting of the London Fashion Weekend website in partnership with London Agency IYA Studio.

Updates and further development to follow over the coming months.

IYA Studio, London – Proud to Announce – Strategic Partnership

We are proud to announce that we have strategically partnered with art direction, interior design and branding experts ‘IYA Studio’. Having met with the guys at IYA and discussed projects we decided there was definitely a fit with both agencies, IYA are design fanatics and have a very strong portfolio in fashion related projects for some great brands including Folk, Comme Des Garcon, Oliver Spencer and Casio ‘G-Shock’. We are a digital agency working in the fashion, design and arts sector and offer a wide variety of digital services including WordPress, Magento, IOS and Android development. So we decided to forge a strategic partnership on that basis. Projects from this partnership to follow.

We Love Folk

Folk a London based clothing label is the perfect brand for the modern discerning man and we love it here at Lucid. The brands ace and so are the guys who work there, our friend Anton Rodriguez is a really good photographer/designer and a top notch bloke.

The question is though, where’s our shoes Anton? Keep up the good work team Folk.

To see more of Anton’s work check his site out at, we love the work he did for Pushka Restaurant.
