L is for Lukasz

Our numero uno developer, who sits there day in day out, bringing our crazy design ideas to life through a series of letters and numbers.

This guy can solve pretty much any development challenge we put to him and was the master mind behind our new site.

Thanks Lukasz, great work.

Becoming a PLC

This may seem like a bit of an odd post for a design agency, but business is something that I have always been interested in, having studied it in university as my degree course. I had always thought, amongst it would seem from researching on the internet many other people that to become a PLC you need to float on the stock exchange, “become listed” and therefore companies that become PLC’s where sometimes misleadingly huge…. Not the case.

I read a great and very interesting article on Muckle LLP about this and found out that actually to become a PLC it is not all that much different to becoming a limited company.

Well that clears that one up, back to the design posts.

Another Happy Customer

Big thanks, love and respect go to Charlotte Taylor for her more than kind words about the website we created for her on her latest blog post. Charlotte runs a fantastic blog, documenting her struggle, crusade, journey, fight, flight? to the top of the fashion food chain.

The blog is great, the clothes are perfect, the photography is spot on and the branding is simple, not to mention she is getting noticed by some pretty influential names… Vogue, The Guardian, Times and Topshop to mention just a few. All the right ingredients for a great label in its very first season. We wish Charlotte very good luck whilst preparing for her next show at the Vauxhall Fashion Show, which is part of London Fashion Week and throughout the rest of her very bright future.

You can see her site here….

Oh… by the way, in case you wondered where you are? We just face-lifted the blog from the old center aligned, grey colour scheme to this left aligned, white scheme, with a wider content width for bigger and better images. It also follows the styling to make way for our new website.

We like it, hope you do.

Murdered Out

Black is the new black, well it never went anywhere really. Here’s a selection of some ‘murdered out’ (all black) products we like. From Black B&B Italia Rooms and Sofa’s to B&W Speakers, Bang & Olufsen TV’s, Cassius Sunglasses, a James Perse Bike, Ducatti Performance Motorbike and Bamford & Sons Rolex watches, which we saw in ‘Collette Paris’ earlier this year. We love all these stealth products.

Expect to see some key black on black design pieces coming from the Lucid Haus in the near future.
